The speciality of the construction results from the combination of its individual elements: The base is a so to speak three-dimensional scissor frame, which when folded becomes not only flatter, but also narrower. On top of it lies a roll-up tabletop made of ash wood slats connected with sturdy textile straps, which is fixed by means of two frames attached to the connecting elements underneath the tabletop - which gives the whole thing amazing stability. You can supplement this on soft ground still by tilt resistance by fixing the four connecting elements on the ground with tent pegs.
If the table is to be transported, the table top can be wrapped around the folded frame - the entire construction then has a packing size of only about 60 × 12 cm.
