Folding chair oak wood

This Danish folding armchair is predestined for "lounging", because in addition to its low seat height, it has an exceptional seat width, which ensures comfortable sitting in almost any position. The oak frame is covered with straps made of a cotton-PP mix, which are woven in a pattern that the manufacturer calls "sildebensmønster" (i.e. herringbone pattern). These straps, an unmistakable hallmark of Scandinavian furniture design, are stretched into a weave of almost 25 running meters on each armchair, which has an extraordinary and lasting tensile strength.

Another unusual feature for an armchair is the fact that it can be folded and stowed away in a single movement - and in the smallest of spaces, as the armchair is just 16.5 cm deep when folded. The joint that makes this possible is made of 4 mm thick, solid stainless steel. It has a very simple design (which is why it is so solid) and was specially developed for this armchair. The manufacturer of this armchair simply attests to its considerable load-bearing capacity. It should also be noted: Designed as living room furniture, the folding armchair is only suitable for outdoor use to a limited extent.
