Florascent fragrances

For the Olfactive Art Collection, Florascent's in-house perfumer Roland Tentunian again makes use of pure floral essences and macerates of aromatic plants produced especially for the Karlsruhe-based perfume house. The compositions are inspired by scents of nature (for example, kumquat and olong), by the history of perfume (Le Gantier), or by olfactory impressions and scent sketches, which are transformed into very different perfumes using the fine, natural fragrances.
It is not only the fragrances themselves that are small works of art, but also their packaging: They are embossed using traditional letterpress printing techniques with a so-called Heidelberg platen. This old printing press can usually only print on paper up to A3 size, but it can produce very high-quality prints as well as embossing, creasing and die-cutting. The colors consist of pigments and hemp oil.

Florascent, the Karlsruhe-based fragrance manufacturer, follows the tradition of European perfumery going back to the 17th century. They processed only natural raw materials – a commitment that is extremely rare today – resulting in the most delicate flower essences and in-house-produced macerates of aromatic plants. Building on these choice ingredients, the Florascent fragrances mature to scents full of character during several months. Both Eau de Toilette and Eau de Parfum appeal with natural charm and authenticity.
