Fitted sheet double jersey

This fitted sheet is made from soft double jersey, which differs from the usual "jersey fabrics" mainly due to the fabric weight of a generous 200 g/sqm - despite the fineness of the yarns used of Nm 100. A special feature of double jersey is the double knitting method. This creates the same smooth fabric appearance on the inside and outside. The fabric is extremely hard-wearing and has high elasticity and shape retention. The non-iron fabric is quickly put on and does not crease.

The yarn count is a textile unit of length, we specify it in Nm (metric number), whereby the higher the number, the finer the yarn. A yarn count of Nm 100 means that 100 meters of yarn weigh 1 gram. An additional number is added if the yarn is twisted from several single yarns, for example Nm 100/3 for a yarn made from three single yarns. Another designation is the yarn count, other measurements are tex, dtex or denier (den). Denier is a textile unit of weight that is only used for fine tights. It indicates how much 9,000 meters of yarn weigh: At 15 denier, 9,000 meters of the yarn in question weigh 15 grams. The international Tex system, in which the weight of 1,000 meters of yarn is specified, is now much more common.
