The fire tower provides simple, effective means to start a crackling fire for the garden party that evening. How the fire is kindled involves a clever detail. A drawer is concealed behind the opening at the foot of the tower. In addition to its function as a catch-basin for ashes, it also serves as the fire box for the kindling. When you slide in the fire box along with the burning kindling and close the drawer, the construction and design of the fire tower ensure that thanks to perfect ventilation the firewood quickly ignites, breaking out in a blazing fire.
