Finger puppets dwarfs felt
General Information
When a manufacturer convinces us, we like to be inspired by their product world to new ideas. Together with Én Gry & Sif we have developed this hand-felted finger puppet set made of pure new wool, which with its soft feel and imaginative design in rainbow colors encourages educational role play. These finger puppets dwarfs you get only with us.
Fantasy in rainbow colors
These finger puppets, felted by hand from pure New Zealand virgin wool, convey a naturally soft tactile experience and adapt perfectly to the creative play of your offspring. Restrained clearly designed and yet at Zipfelmütze, smock and collar inevitably recognizable as representatives of their kind, the dwarfs on the finger of your child awaken to colorful life and play themselves fearlessly through all the funny, exciting and intricate stories that your child imaginatively brings to life.
So should the search for the treasure at the foot of the rainbow remain unsuccessful, so the rainbow dwarfs jump in. After all, what does another pot of gold, once these pixies play out their natural abilities? Since the yellow dwarf possibly makes the sun shine and the orange one the volcanic lakes glow, the red one lives through the passions of love, the lilac dwarf settles every dispute of the field, forest and meadow dwellers, the green one guards the secrets of the forest and the blue one reveals the ancient knowledge of the sea ...
In his freely invented role-playing games, your child playfully deals with the world and with his own needs, experiences and desires. By slipping into unfamiliar roles, your offspring imitates the behavior and language of adults, builds his communicative skills and trains his own social behavior in the long term. Whatever preoccupies your offspring, in role play he can deal with it, affectionately, critically or even once militantly - and who knows what fantastic treasure your offspring will eventually discover at the end of the rainbow.
A Fair Collaboration. Gry & Sif
During her backpacking tour through Nepal, the Dane Gry Staunstrup got to know the astonishing openness and warmth of the country’s inhabitants, and their craftsmanship bedazzled her. She was able to observe in detail how adeptly and skilfully Nepalese women felted wool into a wide variety of objects. Staunstrup felt it was time to make something good out of the untapped potential, and an idea was born: to combine Nepalese handicrafts with Danish design. And the idea was immediately followed by action.
The company Gry & Sif started producing a variety of products made of wool felt in Nepal in 2000. The designs created by Gry Staunstrup are as remarkable as they are understated and, characteristic of Danish design, at the same time fresh and merry. Nepalese women turn them into products employing traditional handicrafts. Fair Trade certified by now, Gry & Sif stands for fair wages and working conditions, environmentally conscious production and transparency. The company exclusively sources pure new wool from New Zealand sheep for the felting; each of the resulting products is handmade and unique.
