The Essedue company, based in the province of Pavia in northern Italy, brings to its equipment more than a quarter of a century of experience in the construction of slicers for catering and household. To this day, no part of the production process has been outsourced - from casting the raw parts to milling and drilling to assembly and quality assurance, all work steps take place at the plant in Cura Carpignano. We offer here a slicer as a household appliance, which is actually a catering appliance and proves its suitability already by the fact that it is used - at least in this country - more frequently in hotel and restaurant kitchens. The knife (195 mm Ø) cuts cheese, ham and sausages into wafer-thin to approximately thumb-thick (approx. 14 mm thick) slices, whereby the material to be sliced is moved to the blade on the inclined carriage with constant pressure - with the help of gravity, so to speak: This facilitates operation, especially when slicing larger quantities. The solid motor of the slicer can withstand up to 15 minutes of continuous operation without difficulty. The exact setting of the slicing thickness is made by a knob located at the front of the machine. A tray or plate (even a larger round) can, since it is designed freestanding, conveniently placed directly under the machine.
