Elisen gingerbread from the Fichtelgebirge
The taste of Elisen gingerbread is characterized by the high proportion of almonds and nuts of at least 25 percent. Their production is the supreme discipline of gingerbread: ours come from the Hatzel brothers in Selb in the Fichtelgebirge, where they have been produced for more than 90 years - still by hand and according to the original recipe of the grandfather.
