The elegant, shiny chrome brother of the M10 is a real feast for the eyes. The desk stapler is made of chrome-plated steel and is polished to a mirror finish by hand in several stages. With its exposed tension and torsion springs (the former guides the staples in the Magazin ), it is more reminiscent of a precision mechanical demonstration object for physics lessons than a desk stapler for papers.

It masters this task with ease and more, because in addition to paper - up to 25 sheets of 80 g paper (in closed, open or half-open stapling) - the M5 also staples foils and fabrics. It can also be used as a stapler because it can be opened 180°. The Magazin of the desktop stapler holds 50 staples of size 24/6 (El Casco staples no. 22). Like all El Casco desk staplers, it can be completely dismantled and each individual part can be replaced. We supply the desk stapler in a gift box with a box of staples. This is mainly due to the developers' preference for high-gloss chrome-plated and gold-plated surfaces and the outstanding workmanship. All parts are precisely aligned and hand-adjusted.
