This single-walled, lightweight drinking bottle from Klean Kanteen® can take anything without complaint, because it is made of stainless steel and keeps tight - the ideal companion for on the go. The 4.2 cm wide opening makes it easy to fill - preferably with water or other cold drinks (non-carbonated) - and also easy to clean. The stainless steel cap with a bamboo lid insert closes absolutely securely with a silicone seal, so that the bottle can be safely carried in a rucksack or bag - nothing will leak out. The bottle can also be attached to a belt or the outside of a rucksack using the separately available S-carabiner (item number 205396).

The Californian family business Klean Kanteen® offers clean alternatives to disposable cups and bottles with its stainless steel containers. What began with a drinking bottle has developed over ten years into a broad repertoire of containers for transporting food, made without aluminum and bisphenol-A (BPA), but from tasteless and odorless stainless steel. Unlike aluminum and plastic, stainless steel is an inert material that neither reacts chemically with food nor releases particles. Containers made from this material are extremely stable and durable, and they also come in a functional and visually appealing design. As a member of "1% for the Planet", Klean Kanteen® donates at least one percent of its sales to environmental protection projects or educational support through non-profit organizations. At the beginning of 2020, the company joined the non-profit organization "Climate Neutral". The aim is to reduce CO₂ emissions to a minimum throughout the company. Even simple measures such as the use of green electricity, video conferencing instead of business trips and reusable solutions in the canteen can help. The first visible step for customers is to do without packaging.

Klean Kanteen® only uses 18/8 stainless steel, and this in a thicker thickness, which makes Klean Kanteen® products significantly more robust than many other stainless steel containers. They can therefore withstand a lot, but are still light enough for use on the go. The threads are also largely made of stainless steel. This contributes to the longevity of the containers. The bottle caps are fitted with silicone seals, which are also used in medical technology.

To ensure that the containers can be used for a long time, they must also be easy to clean. Klean Kanteen® therefore manufactures them with rounded "corners" and smooth, wide threads. On the inside, the surface is electropolished and so smooth that dirt cannot stick easily. And if something does dry on the inside, the wide openings make it easy to reach. Another practical feature is that the stainless steel containers can be cleaned in the dishwasher.
