If your children cast a covetous eye on this decorative strip, don't be surprised. Each of the five treetops has a different shape - hemisphere, cone, ellipse, column or umbrella - so that you can achieve a different effect with each new combination. In addition to the visual experience, the decorative strip offers you an equally fine tactile pleasure when you rearrange it: The base is made of fine-pored maple wood, the tree trunks and crowns are made of beech wood and all surfaces have been sanded and oiled by hand to a velvety smooth finish. And if you're not adding other decorative ideas to your delicate yet solid tree arrangement - such as twigs, leaves and flowers, colorful cards, origami or felt objects - you can of course let the younger members of your family try out a new combination.

The Polish family business Wooden Story stands for toys made from FSC®-certified wood. As befits a family from the forests of the Makov Beskids, Wooden Story also begins with a forest spirit - at least its name. Slavic mythology tells of the forest spirit Borowy, who protects forests and game. Coincidence or not, the founding family of Wooden Story is also called Borowy, and under the expert hands of grandfather Borowy, the company's first wooden toy was created in 1969.

Now in its fourth generation, the family business, which has since established itself with its natural wood furniture, is once again manufacturing wooden toys. The joy of creating for children and the respectful attitude towards nature are reflected in these toys. Wooden Story produces exclusively from FSC®-certified wood of European origin, to which natural pigments lend color. And instead of sealing artificial varnishes, the surface is given a velvety polish with beeswax and vegetable oils, which emphasizes the natural grain of the wood and preserves its special feel.
