Over the entire length of 50 cm, four narrow grooves run through a strip of untreated, smoothly sanded oak wood, which already has a high decorative value with its velvety surface and striking grain. The solid natural material promises durable functionality, in which the grooves running in rows allow for a design with depth effect. Above all, the design in the straightforward Scandinavian style corresponds to a maximum minimalism, which opens up the greatest freedom for you with its versatility. Because the neatly milled grooves can be equipped again and again with elements of your choice: with cheeky postcards, romantic letters, combined with leaves and flowers, folded origami or felted decoObjekten - or even with our matching motifs cut from poplar plywood, which form a variably arrangeable, spatially effective backdrop.

The focus of his designs is therefore on the innovative added value that a product offers you - and the innovation consists of solving a problem that arises in our everyday lives.

"You don't stumble across good ideas," emphasizes Markus Stallberg. Rather, he approaches the solution to such an everyday problem in many small steps, the direction of which is determined by constant observation and questioning. Until a functional solution has been developed, you have to "sometimes go astray". Trial and error, reconsideration and further improvements are just as much a part of this process as a lively exchange with a wide variety of people. An open ear for their respective needs is essential in order to create a product that is functional and yet not too complex. Close cooperation with experienced manufacturers is just as important. After all, the product should not only have an appealing, integrable design on paper, on the computer and in the self-built model, but should also be well crafted and manufactured in a resource-saving manner. Instead of reinventing the wheel, it is perfectly possible to transfer the tried and tested into the present - with an additional benefit that ideally "satisfies everyone".
