Cylindrical glass vase

A strikingly straightforward simplicity characterizes these vases and lends a well-proportioned frame to any decorative idea, no matter how bold. Equally striking is their extraordinary weight, which makes it hard to believe that the vases were mouth-blown. But they were.

The designs for the glass vases come from a London design studio, a family business founded in the 1960s, which places great value on the craftsmanship of its creations as well as their functionality and modernity. And so these vases are carefully blown "in front of the lamp" in a Polish glassblowing workshop according to all the rules of traditional craftsmanship. The finish is also done by hand - until the solid wall of each of these unique pieces of craftsmanship rises straight up from a reinforced base and ends in a carefully polished upper rim. So heavy and stable, the vases are extremely versatile: They hold your arrangement of flowers, blossoms and twigs, display the finds from your walk in the woods or act as an atmospheric lantern for your pillar candle after you have filled them with a little gravel, sand or soil. And while we're on the subject of sand and soil: As a planter, the vases transform your houseplant from root to flower into a decorative object.
