Cyklop uncorking machine

The same model was already available in 1929. We are now having the corkscrew uncorking machine manufactured again in a specialized mechanical workshop in Steinbach-Hallenberg in Thuringia, which is generally regarded as the cradle of corkscrew production in Germany. The "Cyklop" is heavy, made of cast iron and has a wooden handle. Its mechanism does indeed function smoothly. All internal parts - 23 in number, each of which can be replaced if necessary - are completely exposed and can be cleaned and re-greased at any time. And: you can watch the appliance at work. The lever is attached to the side; push and pull are applied simultaneously from both sides, which requires less force than usual to operate. The purchase is only worthwhile for at least one wine tasting a year - or with a view to the constant pleasure of such a beautiful application of the law of leverage. (You will notice this at the latest when you uncork one bottle after another for the sheer pleasure of it). Spare parts as always via us.
