General Information
White beech wood or ironwood is a very hard, dense and therefore insensitive wood, which is still occasionally used today in the manufacture of hand tools. Accordingly, hornbeam wood handles are rare in kitchen utensils - so you get this cake server so only with us.
Two in one. Cake lifter with ground blade
A real tool for the kitchen and bakery - in this cake lifter the blade is also the blade. Punched from stainless steel and ground on both sides, it still divides the baked goods before serving, with the smooth side all kinds of elaborate cakes, with the wave-ground rather simple cakes from the tray. The cranked shape makes it easier to handle in the baking vessel.
The sturdy handle is made of polished hornbeam wood and is firmly riveted to the tang. The knotty wood of the hornbeam is a very dense and hard wood and is more often used in the manufacture of tools - there it is also known as ironwood.

This cake slicer from Solingen has a blade, which also functions as a slicer. Made of stamped stainless steel and sharpened on both sides, it can be used to slice cakes and pastries before serving: even fancy cakes with the smooth side and baked cakes with the serrated side. The bent form of the blade makes handling the cakes easier. The handle is made of polished hornbeam wood and firmly riveted to the tang.
