Cow Leather Hiking Shoe

This special ankle-high model, lined completely with soft leather on the inside, is made exclusively for us by Berghen. The hiking shoe belongs to the A / B category, so it is generally a little firmer and worked with a higher shaft, thus making it particularly suited to forest or farm roads in low mountain ranges, or the pre-Alps. The combination of five pairs of eyelets and one pair each of draw-hooks and regular hooks allows for the quick and comfortable putting on and taking off of the shoe, not to mention good adaptation to the foot.

The Brussels-based family business, Dubois, has been producing walking shoes under the brand name Berghen since 1993. Every stage of production, from the concept to the finished shoe, takes place in Europe. Berghen relies on proven suppliers for the individual components, such as the Vibram® outsoles, which are made of a special rubber compound thus ensuring a perfect grip as well as good abrasion resistance. All Berghen models share the fact that they are designed to be as light as possible without compromising on longevity and comfort.
