Cornhole case

From konifez® comes a German variant of the American cornhole game, also known as the bean bag game. As simple as the rules are, as much fun it is. You can play in pairs or in two teams (about four), in the garden and in the park as well as on the beach or wherever you can find a free area that is a little over 8 m long and 2 m wide. The set-up is quick: the board is set up like an inclined plane, with the hole in the higher area. The players line up at a distance of 6-8 meters from it, the throwing line is marked with a rope, and they take turns throwing four small bags filled with corn. If a bag lands on the board, it scores one point; if it can be holed, it scores three points. Once all the bags have been thrown, the difference in points between the teams is counted: Whichever team reaches 21 points first wins. In contrast to the American original, the rules of our Cornhole are a bit more relaxed and can be varied as needed. The main thing is to have fun.

The Münster manufacturer of the Cornhole game calls it konifez® and thus reveals, by the way, the origin of this German variant of Cornhole: In the Münsteraner Masematte, an old secret language that developed as a dialect of Rotwelsch (the German rogue language), Koni namely means little bag and Fez as much as fun. Even though you can't tell from the unassuming game how much fun it can be - it quickly develops a high addiction factor once you've started playing it. Once the ambition to collect points has been awakened, there's no stopping it. Conveniently, our Cornhole board doubles as a carrying case that can be taken anywhere. On the family trip, to the birthday or wedding party or on vacation, where it seriously competes with boules and pétanque. And like there, there are no restrictions on the throwing techniques - and the number of spectators or their willingness to discuss.
