Coolicon pendant light enamel

Here comes an archetypal industrial lighting classic that first shone its light on the world in 1933. The name Coolicon stands for "Cooling from Convection". It stands for the principle of the luminaire dome made with large recesses through which the heat from the light source is dissipated. A side effect of this design is that some of the light is also emitted upwards and to the sides. The Coolicon pendant light has been produced again since 2015 - in Great Britain and in the material that once established its reputation. The shade is not powder-coated or painted, but properly enameled, which not only makes it high-gloss, but also robust. The brass socket - an eye-catcher in itself - comes from Lilley & Son in Birmingham, the UK's leading manufacturer of lamp sockets with a tradition stretching back more than 180 years. The black textile cable can easily be shortened to the desired length on site.
