Contact grill electric

Contact grills and coffee bars go together like mozzarella and tomatoes. The electric contact grill from Milantoast has been a fixture in bars and cafés throughout Italy since the 1960s. It is the original model: the first contact grill ever developed and manufactured in Italy. A classic catering appliance, heavy and reliable, with ceramic-coated cast iron grill plates in a solid stainless steel housing. You can also recognize this professional appliance by the fact that the lower, slightly slanted grill plate allows excess cooking fat to drain directly into a drip tray underneath. The included cleaning brush makes it easy to clean the grill plates.

We offer the contact grill in three versions. The choice is yours: in one model, both grill plates have a ribbed surface. This version is particularly recommended for preparing panini, the classic grilled sandwiches, and for cooking delicate food (fish, prawns, white meat). You can also try grilling cheese, vegetables (such as green asparagus) or sweets (banana in the peel, pineapple slices) on this appliance. On the second model, only the upper grill plate is ribbed, while the lower plate is flat. If you enjoy eating steak, burgers and grilled eggplant (or zucchini) as well as panini, ham and cheese toast etc., this is the grill for you. Tofu, eggs and small sausages (with or without meat) can also be grilled on the smooth grill plate. The third model comes to you with an unfluted, i.e. smooth, grilling surface on both sides and can do everything that the second model can do - with the one (small) difference that your food will not get roasted stripes on the top.
