Cold Brew. Anything but cold coffee

Cold Brew is a method of coffee preparation in which the ground bean is filtered with cold water. Sounds strange? But results in a fruity, mild, aromatic and invigorating drink that contains less bitterness and acidity than its hot water brewed counterpart. The taste secret lies in the slowness with which a Cold Brew is prepared.

Our recipe:

Add 500 ml of fresh, cold water to approx. 100 g of lightly roasted, medium-ground coffee and store this mixture in the refrigerator overnight before filtering. Soft water provides better extraction (use bottled still water if necessary). As a concentrate, Cold Brew is popularly enjoyed diluted with sparkling water or milk. In summer, a scoop of refreshing ice cream can also be enjoyed with it. Taste the Limoncello in iced Cold Brew. Liqueur and coffee complement each other in a surprising way.

Bar filter jug stainless steel, Volume 1 l

The aroma-friendly freshly filtered coffee stays warm longer in the pot body - or even cooled, if it's a cold brew, which can steep in it overnight in the refrigerator. The rod filter method is the easiest way to make cold brew coffee.

Is your favourite ice cream flavour a little more unusual? Is the nearest ice cream parlour too far away? Or your appetite for ice cream is too big to wait? These are three good reasons to make your own ice cream - apart from the flavour, of course. Basically, a simple ice cream flavour such as vanilla is enough, which you can vary as you wish to make gelato alla nocciola, stracciatella or Malaga ice cream, for example. With this in mind, what are you waiting for?
