Coat rack Swedish State Railway oak / aluminum

The trains and waiting halls of the Swedish railroads used to be equipped with this coat rack; you can still find it there from time to time. Simple, elegant and, above all, robust, then as now, it is not only used to hang up jackets and coats, but is also an attractive place to put a stylishly draped hat or cap. The design is as simple as it is solid (and the coat rack is correspondingly easy to assemble): Two end brackets made of solid cast aluminum 100 cm apart hold the three rods made of solid oak wood; the three double hooks are slid onto the wooden rods and fixed in place before mounting on the wall. We offer the Swedish coat rack in two versions: with brackets made of raw, simply shot-peened cast aluminum or with black powder-coated brackets. The double hooks are also made of die-cast aluminum, the surface is either shot-polished or black powder-coated. Recycled aluminum is used for the aluminum parts, the surface of the oak roundwood is finely sanded and finally oiled.
