Clear shaving soap refill activated charcoal

The perfect size for the aluminum jar of Klar shaving soaps: the soap with activated charcoal for refilling. The composition of the superfatted shaving soap (pH value 10.5) has the usual Klar qualities: It develops an exceptionally fine, creamy lather, has a high swelling effect and thus enables a deep, gentle and careful shave. Thanks to the activated charcoal it contains, it also ensures gentle and thorough cleansing of the facial skin. Due to its porous surface, activated charcoal is able to bind and remove dirt particles and sebum, which is particularly beneficial for oily skin and skin prone to impurities. It is also free from perfumes and fragrances, making it suitable for sensitive skin. Like all shaving soaps, this one is also boiled with activated charcoal and certified palm oil.

At a prosperous time for the old trading city Heidelberg, in 1840, Philipp Klar opened a soap works and store in the city centre at a “Hauptstrasse” address. This address became the cornerstone of a soap tradition which is now in the fifth generation. “At Klar’s”, as the employees fondly refer to the company these days, the best raw materials are processed, with the proven procedures and recipes which have been handed down.
