Simple principle. And made entirely of porcelain.
In this paper roll holder, a roll of toilet paper is placed in the trough and the paper is pulled down through the slot. The porcelain holder is manufactured by the porcelain factory Lindner in the Upper Franconian Küps.

The roll lies in the fitted cup and the paper comes out through the slit at the bottom. Specially made for Manufactum in Germany.
