This is because the precision craftsmanship is complemented by the high quality of the materials: the aluminum sound tubes are weather-resistant and produce a clean, pure, long-lasting sound. The wooden elements are also suitable for outdoor use - provided they are regularly treated with a nourishing oil - as they are made of solid alder wood that has been triple-oiled in an immersion bath and is one of the most water-resistant woods. Last but not least, the interplay of solid wood and black anodized aluminium blends in beautifully with any interior, even when the chimes are silent.
