Children's rice straw broom

Sweeping the dust out of the corners, sweeping up the leaves in the garden, wiping the first powdery snow off the kerb: The brushwood broom (or straw broom) is still used in many households today as an outdoor and indoor sweeping and street broom. With its low weight and 90 centimetre length, our version is optimized for children and is equipped with robust rice straw - the coarse fruit panicles of sorghum, which is also called broomcorn for understandable reasons. Three stitched seams bundle the rice straw and keep it in shape.

The solid, velvety smooth beechwood handle is pierced at the upper end: This allows you to hang up the broom when you want to store it gently and give the rice straw trim a little break from your little one's activities. For example, after your child has enthusiastically swept their play mat free of building blocks lying around or has eagerly lent you a hand with the autumn garden maintenance. Or perhaps after your child has taught their stuffed animals how to protect themselves from sandstorms in the sandpit, or has flown through Walpurgis Night with the neighborhood witches.
