Chestnut umbrella

Here is a veritable stick umbrella that lives up to its name. At its center - from the metal tip to the steam-bent handle - is a single continuous pole made of solid chestnut wood of German origin. Only specimens that have grown absolutely straight can be used as stick blanks. They are debarked and freed from small side shoots - you can still see these areas, which makes each umbrella unique. The solid spoked frame is covered with a strong cotton fabric that is effectively rainproof thanks to a fluorocarbon and acrylic resin coating. The hinge points of the frame are also reinforced with fabric - which is rare. When stretched out, the roof covers an area with a diameter of 1.08 meters. All in all, this makes for a rock-solid, very stable umbrella that literally never leaves you standing in the rain - even if you have to pay for this advantage by the fact that the umbrella is not a lightweight. When not in use, you can store the (dry) umbrella in the storage bag supplied.
