    General Information

Under its hinged seat, this chest bench offers ample storage space in three compartments. It was originally intended as hallway furniture, but it turned out in practice that it can be useful in other rooms as well. The Rabenau chair makers build the practical chest bench according to a design by Manufactum in the style of the "Old Nikolai School".

Flur furniture. Urgently needed and hard to get.

Hallway furniture - with the exception of the coat rack available in manifold, more or less suitable variants - ekes out a shadowy existence, which is directly related to the little attention paid to the hallway itself, which is regarded merely as a passageway. Yet the hallway, as the interface between the private "inside" and the public "outside," has grown to include tasks that go far beyond simply holding a coat, hat and briefcase. In the meantime, you need a variety of shelves to keep all the things you should not forget when you go out. Together with the chair makers from Rabenau, we thought about this and created some hallway furniture. The results of these efforts - in form and manufacturing classic furniture in proven Nikolai way - you can see here.
