General Information
International all-rounder: BASKET was designed by Swiss architect Gian Franco Legler for a restaurant called BASKET. The chair was already very popular in the USA in the early 1950s, not least because of a special award for its design from the MoMA in New York. Today, the chair is woven by an Australian company in Indonesia. This makes sense, as the rattan material is grown and directly processed there. Formal minimalism meets minimalist use of materials in BASKET. The wickerwork of rattan, which spans the filigree steel structure, offers flexibility and a high level of comfort in the seat and backrest area, as it adapts to body pressure. BASKET is suitable for use in private dining areas as well as in restaurants. Max. load weight: 100 kg.
