This device, which is unbelievably easy to use and highly efficient, acts like an ax when splitting wood. The idea and construction stem from Sweden, and the cast iron parts come from Denmark.

The simple construction of this wood splitter can be reduced to two major components, through which we can predict a long lifespan: there is actually nothing breakable on it. Piece by piece the wood to be cut is placed down on the rungs of the steps, and, with the help of the blade, the wood is split effortlessly with a hand strength of up to 100 kg and a splitting power – resulting through the lever – of up to 2.4 tons. There is hardly any danger of injury because the splitting process remains under control at all times (this is markedly different when an ax is used).

It splits pieces up to 40 cm long. The blade can be sharpened. Cast iron. For securing the blade when not in use the device is equipped with a steel locking ring that can be simply elevated in order to use.
Height 58 cm, width 8 cm, depth 13.5 cm. Weight 4.8 kg. Fastening material for mounting on the wall is included.
