Brütting. A real running shoe.
The Brütting sports shoe has been made since the end of the 60s and enjoys cult status among connoisseurs and competitive athletes. It was developed in close co-operation between the Nuremberg shoemaker Eugen Brütting and several coaches and athletes and is today still "handmade in Germany".
Made of leather – crafted on a last.
The shoes are constructed on a crescent-shaped last. A soft border lining surrounds the heel and the sole‘s edge and back are strengthened with rubber. The sole structure is produced in keeping with a conservative, traditional shoemaking method, the three-layer structure, with a hard-wearing rubber running sole, wedge and front-to-back middle sole made of cellular rubber, and the chrome-tanned leather insole provide a medium-hard step.

The model series was developed in close co-operation between the Nuremberg shoemaker Eugen Brütting and several coaches and athletes. The shoes are still "handmade in Germany". Since we have Brütting leather running shoes in our range, we are told that this is an attack on the joints of our unsuspecting customers. These shoes would not go along with the progress in the development of the gel soles. We hold ourselves back in the assessment and leave it to you, whether you actually use these shoes for training or rather just for après sports. Be assured, unlike other models, they make a good figure almost everywhere.

The "Sao Paulo" is a feather-light road shoe with a racing shoe-like fit. The upper made from soft cow suede, the heel cap reinforced with rubber and the pronounced bedding in the heel and lateral joint guarantee optimal comfort while running. The shoe also features joint support with padding for the heel and ball of the foot and a shock-absorbing structure in the sole area.
