British hip flask pewter
General Information
To boost your own morale
Hip flasks from Sheffield - and made of pewter. The flasks are handmade by a metalworking company that has been around since 1877. The company specializes in the production of tankards, jugs, goblets etc. made of silver and also pewter (in alloys without lead). The bottles owe their slender shape to models from Victorian times. To boost their own morale - and that of their fellow travelers - they are filled with high-proof spirits. They can be passed around in small or large groups and carried in the inside pocket of a hiking jacket. The only thing you can't do is stand the bottles up: their rounded, flat shape means that their bottoms are not designed for this.
