Branch shears with short handle

General Information
Thinning out and pruning. With ease.
There are occasions when the gardener*in yet nothing is spared - not even to plunge head first and right into the undergrowth. If you have old, dense and perhaps already somewhat gnarled bushes and shrubs in your garden, you know what we're talking about. With the large pruning shears there is hardly a passage, and with the small garden shears the thinning out of the overgrown plants quickly turns into pure Sisyphean work. This is where the following pruning shears from the specialist Berger in Wuppertal come into play, whose advantages come into their own perfectly in such ingrown, crooked and crooked shrubs. The shortened handles allow controlled guidance of the tool even in awkward places and, because they are made of sturdy aluminum tubing, still allow a powerful grip. The strong shear head is forged from quality steel. The insides of both blades even have a forged-in oil reservoir, and to be able to hold the cut material at all times in the optimum cutting position, the counter blade is equipped with fixing notches.
Cutting Tools. For a good cut: how to choose the right model
For the selection of the right garden shears is first to answer the question, what should be cut. Our scissors differ in material, size, weight and equipment, so that each has a specific area of responsibility. Basically, we distinguish between two types of scissors: In bypass shears, two blades slide past each other, leaving a clean, smooth interface; in anvil shears, on the other hand, a sharp blade meets the stationary anvil. Bypass shears are particularly suitable for precise cuts requiring little force on thinner pruning material - such as roses, shrubs or perennials - while anvil shears can be used to make powerful cuts on stronger branches; they are thus particularly suitable for pruning woody plants. In our range you will then find, for example, specialists for topiary or thinning, for a particularly hand-friendly operation or an extra strong cut for particularly thick branches.
