Feeding house birch wood

As close to nature as possible, this feeder should be; this was a specification to its design, in which ornithologists were also involved. Thus, the manufacturer, based in Latvia, chose trunk sections of birch trees, which are hollowed out down to the ground. The side walls are provided with holes, and finally, as a lid, so to speak, a small roof is put on, which is fixed with wooden dowels. For cleaning, this can be removed completely (and without the help of a tool). To fill birdseed, on the other hand, it is enough to pull out the plug, which is only loosely inserted, from the roof.
With the sisal cord, the bird feeder can be easily pulled over a branch and hung in trees or large bushes. We would like to recommend a weather-protected attachment to avoid cracks in the wood and weathering by moisture.
