As a source of energy, peanuts are popular with many garden birds. If you offer peanuts as a break, soft food eaters such as robins and blackbirds will also be happy to help themselves to them. Feeding columns like these have therefore proven ideal. The roof, which extends far beyond the sturdy wire mesh wall made of sheet steel, as well as the feeding tray are pressed from copper, and the tray with plenty of space for the landing approach is equipped with water drainage holes at our request. Thus, even in rainy weather, the nut food will not remain in the water at all. The mesh size of the wire mesh wall is specially designed for the size of peanuts. By the way, no part of our decorative and weatherproof feeding column is made of plastic: copper and sheet steel are joined by brass screws. To clean it thoroughly, you can completely disassemble the bird feeder column with a twist of the cap nut (under the feeder bowl). Individually, all parts can be thoroughly brushed from the outside and inside. Remember not to use any cleaning agents or detergents, so as not to harm the birds in your garden.
