Berry mixture for birds

Dried berries provide iron, calcium, minerals and vitamins. This mixture is particularly digestible for the feathered, because the fruits are processed after gentle drying unsweetened and unsulfured. The berries are complementary to the regular feed throughout the year gladly accepted.

Natural habitats for wildlife are visibly dwindling in our tidy landscape. One problem: as territories are cut, so are natural food resources. Nuts, fruits, seeds or insects are often no longer available in sufficient quantities, and so year-round supplementary feeding in the garden - especially in urban environments - has become a contribution to species conservation. The songbirds native to our region benefit from this, as do hedgehogs and squirrels as small mammals.
The ready-made feed offered here comes from a specialist in the Palatinate region of Germany who uses only natural, GMO-free raw materials for his feeds. A master glazier was the founder of the family business, who was an avid birdwatcher in his spare time. He started the business in 1904 with a small mealworm farm and soon also produced feed mixes for insect pecking garden birds and other special feeds for wild animals.
