Bathrobe waffle piqué and terry unisex

This bathrobe made from Indian cotton comes from the Waldviertel, a traditional textile region in Austria. Framsohn produces it for us from two different types of fabric, a waffle piqué (fabric weight 240 g/sqm) and a fine terry cloth (fabric weight 260 g/sqm). The textile properties of the two fabrics complement each other perfectly: the lightweight, fine terry towelling on the inside is particularly absorbent with its many loops, which means it absorbs moisture well and feels pleasantly soft on the skin. The waffle piqué on the outside with its distinctive texture is particularly airy and allows the bathrobe to dry quickly. The bathrobe has a shawl collar, set-in sleeves and two patch pockets. The generous tie belt runs through loops sewn into the side seam.

Framsohn, the name stands for Franz Amstetter & Söhne, in the Waldviertel region of Lower Austria, is the fourth generation of the family to manufacture high-quality home textiles and terry towelling. The family business has always attached great importance to its connection with nature and the local people. This attitude is reflected in several factors. For example, Framsohn weaves the terry towelling from organic-certified cotton. The entire production process still takes place at the company's original headquarters. This reduces transportation routes, allows continuous quality control from the thread to the finished product and enables Framsohn to directly and immediately influence ecological parameters. To document this, Framsohn is audited and certified annually by an independent third party. High standards apply to the manufacture of textiles from organically produced natural fibers - throughout the entire production chain: from the extraction of the textile fibers, through their processing and distribution, to ethical and social criteria.
