Bath mat double pile

The beauty of these mats lies in the tufting. The backing is "injected" with ring spun long staple cotton fibers. They are held with special "grip arms" so that it creates a thick pile on both sides. The subsequent loops are then cut on one side thus creating an open velour on one side and a closed loop on the other. The mat shows on each side the negative of the other side. The pile is washed first at the weaving mill where the backing in the warp and weft come together differently thus making the fabric more tense and less likely to shrink. This works best by this type of heavy fabric with a weight of 2,100 g/ sm and a thickness of almost 20 mm. 100% cotton.
Machine wash up to 40 °C. In the tumble dryer the mats recover their fullness.
