What a difference a simple curve can make! Eleven solid glued layers of beech veneer, bent, sanded smooth and oiled, make the perfect seesaw - no, a trampoline - or a surfboard - oh, a swing, a slide ... This balance board is simply designed, and it is precisely its minimalism that challenges children's creativity time and time again.

As versatile as its functionality is, as well thought-out is the choice of materials and the careful processing of the balance board. The beech wood, which is ideally suited thanks to its pliable hardness, comes from forestry in North Rhine-Westphalia. The veneer layers are carefully stacked, glued and bent under heat in the press die. After milling, the edges are finished by hand. Last but not least, the shaped plywood is oiled - with natural, solvent-free oils - to increase its resistance to dirt and water.

Carefully manufactured in this way, the balance board is suitable for a wide range of uses. Half-pipe for model cars, footstool in the bathroom and kitchen, raft on a trip to Panama or a course bridge to crawl under: Children's imaginations can run wild. The cork coating on the underside is gentle on more sensitive floors, ensures greater slip resistance and dampens the noise level. And while the child swings and rocks, slides and bounces, the "wobble board" also proves to be a multifunctional, effective training device.

What some people aim to achieve for their entire lives can be achieved on the balance board in passing: the body learns to maintain posture in a playful way. Once you have found your balance, the training effect is automatic. The board not only trains body awareness and a sense of balance, but also strengthens the deep muscles of the entire body, and even fitness can be trained with the help of the board. What's more, the balance board doesn't bend easily: its maximum load weight is 120 kg. Thanks to this robustness, the device is also suitable for fitness training for young people and adults.
