If the ambient temperatures rise or the child is feverish, the fine merino wool protects against heat accumulation, because its fibers can absorb a lot of body moisture and dissipate it to the environment with a cooling effect - ideal for sensitive skin. Thanks to its natural structure, merino wool fibers are also very elastic, baby clothes made from it are stretchy and can be effortlessly slipped over the infant. Silky-smooth and skin-friendly, the breathable, extremely tear-resistant silk fibers also contribute to the high wearing comfort for the newborn and at the same time increase the longevity of the knitted or woven fabric.

When the first offspring is announced, parents are quickly faced with the pressing question of what equipment they need for the new family member - and above all: how many items of clothing? Basically, the first outfit does not have to overflow, because the infant grows (and often grows faster than we can initially imagine). For the newborn, clothing in sizes 56 to 62 should be selected - whether winter warming or summer light naturally depends on the season in which you expect your baby. In any case, an average checklist includes:

• 6 to 8 tops (T-shirts and, depending on the season, thicker or thinner sweaters)

• 3 to 5 rompers or pants with a wide, soft waistband

• 4 to 5 pairs of tights

• 3 to 5 pairs of socks

• 2 to 3 sleep overalls

• 2 sleeping bags

• 2 hats (1 of which is a first hat)

• 1 outdoor set with 1 jacket and 1 pair of pants (or 1 overall), 1 neckerchief, 1 pair of baby shoes

With this first baby kit, your newborn is so well taken care of that you have enough time to welcome your new family member first in peace, to get to know him and to take him deeply into your heart. Of course, your baby equipment will gradually require more (and larger) items of clothing - what the baby will continue to need clothing, this realization grows by itself with time and with your child, with your experience and care.
