These sturdy, riveted archive boxes made of certified archive cardboard (grammage 1,200 gsm) are ecologically, economically and aesthetically pleasing - and manufactured in Brandenburg. The embossing on the lid (similar to beading in metal sheets) ensures dimensional stability; recesses on the long sides make it easier to open the box.

Designed for A4 documents, the 4 and 10 centimeter high slip lid boxes can hold around 500 or 1,250 sheets of (standard printer) paper and many other items that are deemed worth keeping (photos, drawings, letters, postcards and tickets, genealogical documents and artefacts, receipts, other small items). Thanks to the specially prepared cardboard (acid-free, alkaline-buffered and resistant to ageing) from which the archive boxes are made, they are also suitable for long-term archiving of papers, which is why they are popular and frequently used in professional archives. In addition, the archive boxes are also ideal as gift packaging because they are able to lead a second (much longer) life as a storage box after being handed over.
