These shears cut branches up to five centimetres in diameter. It is our most powerful model, an anvil pruner, which, with its long wooden handles and wide-opening mechanism, is ideal for many overhead pruning jobs and especially for thinning out mature shrubs and bushes. The shears can handle old, hard or thick branches with ease. The effort required for this work is noticeably minimized by a double lever transmission.

Our shears differ in terms of material, size, weight and features, so each one has a specific task. There are basically two types of shears: With bypass shears, two blades glide past each other, leaving a clean, smooth cut; with anvil shears, on the other hand, a sharp blade meets the stationary anvil. Bypass shears are particularly suitable for precise cuts requiring little force on thinner pruning material - such as roses, shrubs or perennials - while anvil shears can be used to make powerful cuts on thicker branches, making them particularly suitable for pruning woody plants.
