The glass capillary of this thermometer, developed and produced by TFA Dostmann in Wertheim, is filled with a colorless alcohol mixture and colored contrast liquid instead of mercury. In addition to the current temperature, it also displays the highest and lowest values of an observation period by means of two metal pins - important information for the gardener, especially in times of the first and last frosts. Thanks to an integrated magnet, the values can be "deleted" whenever desired at the touch of a button. Also suitable for outdoor use.

Beside the current temperature, minimum and maximum readings of an evaluation period can be taken by two metal pins. Whenever required, you can reset those values via a magnetic push-button.
