Aloe vera gel

Aloe vera is an ideal moisturizer, it is also rich in minerals, enzymes, vitamin C, E and in provitamin A and thus also has nourishing effect. In this gel is abundant aloe vera extract, as well as ylang ylang and lemon oil. Applied to the skin, it helps regulate the moisture content of the skin and supports its natural functions. The light, oil-free aloe vera gel is quickly absorbed, it can be used pure as a refreshing care for the face and body, but is also suitable for mixing with a skin oil when a rich care is needed. Especially on sun-irritated skin, it is found to be soothing and cooling when applied pure. The gel is suitable for all skin types, even for sensitive skin.

As a succulent, aloe vera, native to the desert, is a master at storing moisture. It stores water in its thick, fleshy leaves and can go for months without rain. The leaves are also used to make aloe vera gel, which has been part of the natural pharmacy in India, Central America and the Anglo-Saxon countries for centuries. In Europe, however, one uses the benefits of the desert lily only since a few decades, especially for skin and facial care.
For cosmetic purposes, the Aloe barbadensis miller is best suited, from its leaves comes the aloe vera extract for the facial care line of Bergland, consisting of cleansing foam, serum, gel, face and eye cream.
